ENNA represented on January 5, 2004 at the CT Siting Council public hearing on the Phase II Power Line project from Norwalk to Middletown. Our Board had adopted a resolution on December 18, 2003 in support of undergrounding which was presented at the public hearing. |

Police Chief Harry Rilling will be present at the January 15 ENNA Board meeting at 7:30 PM for a 'Meet the Chief' meeting. Any ENNA members interested in attending please contact us. |

The Mayor has arranged with the ENNA to conduct one of his Mayor's Neighborhood Preservation Committee Walking Tours in the area served by the ENNA. We are presently in the process of documenting conditions to be addressed by the Committee for the 'Walkabout' that will be done Thursday, April 7 at 10 AM. Please contact us if you are interested in assisting with this project. |

ENNA working with the city and the Mayor's Office to get the word out regarding the three Property Tax Revaluation informational meetings scheduled by the city in the area of the ENNA. |
Minutes/Key items discussed at
January 25 meeting
Discussion included Norwalk's Plan of Conservation & Development (Master Plan) and the issue of Smart Growth & Property Tax. There will be a meeting at City Hall on Thursday, January 29 where a state Blue Ribbon Commission will report on this issue. Discussion on traffic, congestion and unhealthy auto emissions with the need for more mass transportation emphasized. How these issues apply to our section of Norwalk the focus of lengthy discussion. Rep. Boucher put forward ideas for strengthening 'neighborhood'
